Time Change Information

Using Your DKT Telephone to Change CTX System Date and Time

Once you telephone system software has been upgraded to MA228 or higher; and the access codes #651 and #652 have been programmed into your system by your installing/servicing dealer, you can change the system date and time from any DKT3000 or 2000-series LCD telephone using the following steps:

 

To Set the Date

  1. Press an idle extension (Primary Directory Number or Secondary Directory Number) on your telephone. You hear dial tone.
  2. While listening to dial tone, enter #651. You hear a confirmation tone.
    If you hear fast busy, the feature code has been changed or is not programmed.
  3. Enter the date as YYMMDD, where YY = Year, MM = Month and DD = Day.
    Example: To enter October 9, 2002, enter 021009.
  4. Press #. You hear a confirmation tone.
  5. Press Spkr. The telephone returns to the idle mode with your telephone LCD displaying the new set date.

To Set the Time

  1. Press an idle extension (Primary Directory Number or Secondary Directory Number) on your telephone. You hear dial tone.
  2. While listening to dial tone, enter #652. You hear a confirmation tone.
    If you hear fast busy, the feature code has been changed or is not programmed.
  3. Enter the date as HHMMSS, in the 24-hour clock format, where HH = hour,
    MM = Minutes and SS = seconds. Use leading zeros.
    Examples: To enter 6:05AM and 30 seconds, enter 060530; and 2:30PM and
    45 seconds, enter 143045.
  4. Press #. You hear a confirmation tone.
  5. Press Spkr. The telephone returns to the idle mode with your telephone LCD displaying the new set date.
    NOTES:
    • The day-of-week (Monday, Tuesday, etc.) is automatically set by the system.
    • Contact your installing/servicing dealer if you encounter any difficulties using the above steps.

Systems: DK14, DK16e, DK40, DK280, DK424

You MUST be at Port 000 (usually receptionist phone -- station 200) to perform these programs. To verify this, press the "Intercom" button and then dial "#402." The left side of your LCD display should read "PHY=000." Press the [SPKR] (Speaker) button to end the program before you continue.

 

To Set the Time

  1. Keep handset on hook (hung up) like when the phone is not in use.
  2. Press the Intercom button (usually labeled "INT" or "ICM") or your [DN] (main directory number) and then dial "#652."
  3. Enter the time in the 24 hour clock (military time) format using HHMMSS (hour/minute/second) entry. Be sure to enter a leading zero for any single digit.
    *** Example: 083000 = 8:30AM, 203000 = 8:30PM
  4. Press the [RDL] (Redial) button and you will hear a confirmation tone.
  5. Press the [SPKR] (Speaker) button to end the Program

To Set the Date

  1. Keep handset on hook (hung up) like when the phone is not in use.
  2. Press the Intercom button (usually labeled "INT" or "ICM") or your [DN] (main directory number) and then dial "#651."
  3. Enter the date according to YYMMDD (Year/Month/Day) format. Be sure to enter a leading zero for any single digit.
    *** Example: 990101 = January 1, 1999
  4. Press the [RDL] (Redial) button and you will hear a confirmation tone.
  5. Press the [SPKR] (Speaker) button to end the Program

To Set Day

  1. Keep handset on hook (hung up) like when the phone is not in use.
  2. Press the Intercom button (usually labeled "INT" or "ICM") or your [DN] (main directory number) and then dial "#653."
  3. Enter the day code (1=Sun, 2=Mon, 3=Tue, 4=Wed, 5=Thur, 6=Fri, 7=Sat).
  4. Press the [RDL] (Redial) button and you will hear a confirmation tone.
  5. Press the [SPKR] (Speaker) button to end the Program.

Toshiba Voicemail Date and Time

From the Main menu, press 8 System Administration; You are promptedto enter your User ID. From the System Administration menu, press 6 Set Date and Time; Strategy prompts you to enter the User ID. Select one of the following: 1-Set Date, 2-Set Time, 9-Cancel.

 

To Set the Date

System prompts you to enter the date in the following format MM/DD/YY (MM=month, DD=day, YY=year). When finished, press #.

System repeats your entryand asks you to confirm by pressing:

1 - Confirms and changes the date. Returns you to the System Administration menu.

2 - Erases your entry and enables you to re-enter the date.

9 - Cancels function and returns you to the System Administrator Menu

 

To Set the Time

System prompts you to enter the time in the following format HH/MM (HH=hours, MM=minutes). When finished, press #.

1 - Confirms and updates the time. Returns you to the System Administration menu.

2 - Erases your entry and enables you to re-enter the date.

9 - Cancels function and returns you to the System Administrator Menu


Mitel

Mitel phone systems and voice mail systems time change instructions:

If you have a 3300 ICP, 200 ICP, SX-200, SX-2000, and you have an Attendant Console attached to the system, change the time by pressing the Function Key and the following:

3300 ICP:

  1. 3300 ICP Open a web browser session with the URL of " http://X.X.X.X ", where. "X.X.X.X" is the IP address of your 3300 ICP controller.
  2. When the “Security Alert” window is presented click on the “Yes” button to access the login page.
  3. Enter “system” for the Login and “password” for the Password fields.
    Select “Group Administration Tool”.
  4. Select “Change Date and Time”, when the dialog window opens adjust the hour according to the season and then click on “OK”.
  5. From the “Manage System Options” drop down box select “Exit” and then “OK” to continue, then select “Exit” from the 3300 ICP Tool Page, after which the browser session may be ended.

SX2000:

TIME CHANGE NEEDS TO BE COMPLETED AT THE ATTENDANT CONSOLE.

  1. Press FUNCTION .
  2. Press ATT FUNCTION softkey. Press DATE/TIME softkey.
  3. Press 12 HOUR softkey.
  4. Press SET TIME.
  5. -----(Enter the current time using four digits)
  6. Press AM or PM softkey.
  7. Press EXIT softkey.

200 ICP or SX200 :

TIME CHANGE NEEDS TO BE COMPLETED AT THE ATTENDANT CONSOLE. (If customer does not have an Attendant Console at their site, we need to schedule a technician to change the time using one of our consoles.)

 

To Set the Time on the Console:

  1. Press FUNCTION
  2. Press ATT FUNCTION
  3. Press SET TIME
  4. The time (which can be in either the 12 or 24 hour format, depending on system programming), is entered as HH:MM , where the HH is hours and the MM is minutes. This example uses a 12 hour format: 15:30
    When two digits have been entered for the hours, the “ : ” will automatically be displayed.
  5. Options: Press PM to register the time as after 12:00 PM, in 12 hour format
  6. Press SET to enter the time as shown
  7. Press EXIT

Mitel SX-50

TIME CHANGE NEEDS TO BE COMPLETED AT THE ATTENDANT CONSOLE.

To set date using a twelve hour clock

  1. Press the FUNCTION key.
  2. Dial 14.
  3. -----"HHMM" flashes in display, asking you to enter the time.
  4. Dial the time using a 24 hour format.
  5. -----Example: 1:00 PM = 1300
  6. Idle display sets should now show the time as set.

If you have Ops Manager, then it should be scheduled to change the time for all systems,

You must verify the machine that Ops Manager is on has the correct time when changes are scheduled for.

For Mitel Voice Mail Systems

Embedded Voice Mail

If you are managing the voice mail system through the same interface as the phone system, then you have embedded voice mail.

When you make the change to for your phone system time, the voice mail clock will automatically change.

 

EXPRESS MESSENGER

  1. Access the System Administrator mailbox.
  2. Press 3 for DATE/BUSINESS HOURS menu. Press 1 to set system date and time.
  3. Press # to skip date setting.
  4. Enter current time HHMM. -----(Use a 24 hour format)
  5. Press the * key twice to exit mailbox.

For Nupoint Voice Mail Systems:

  1. Login to Nupoint Administration
  2. MAIN MENU
    (M) Mailbox maintenance
    (C) NuPoint Agent maintenance
    (R) Report generation
    (S) System maintenance
    (X) Exit
  3. From the Main Menu choose System Maintenance or (S)
    SYSTEM MAINTENANCE
    (A) NP WakeUp

    (D) Speech and Fax Restore
    (F) Floppy backup
    (G) Resynchronize HIS PMS room status

  5. Then choose Time and Date (T)
  6. And enter as follows:
  7. Enter new value or press <CR> to leave unchanged.
  8. Enter date (mm-dd-yy)
  9. Enter time (hh:mm [am/pm])
  10. System time/date: Fri Mar 9, 2007 2:20 pm
  11. Then choose the exit (X) option to leave admin.

Windows users

Automatic updates were released in February 2007 to allow your computer to find the right time this weekend. If you have the Windows yellow update icon in your system tray (bottom right near time of day), indicating updates are available, double click the icon to download and install the updates.

If you are prompted to install Internet Explorer 7, we recommend that you hold off on the new Internet Explorer version for now. If you have already installed IE7 and it is not properly displaying some web sites, call us: 303-573-8647.

To manually check for updates in any Windows version, run the Internet Explorer, click Tools, Windows Update, then click the Express button and follow the prompts.

MS Outlook users

In some cases the Windows updates will not be enough to correct all MS Outlook messaging scenarios. Microsoft has release an Outlook "hotfix" to address additional issues. If you notice any time and date related problems in MS Outlook after this Saturday evening, contact Advantage Voice Solutions for assistance.
